Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the leadership team in strategic financial planning. This role demands strong analytical skills, a sound understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger entries
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes end-to-end
Perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations on a regular basis
Manage direct and indirect tax filings including GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals and provisions
Prepare and finalize balance sheets, P&L statements, and other financial reports
Generate MIS reports and financial statements for management review
Liaise with auditors during internal and statutory audits
Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
Supervise, guide, and mentor junior accountants and accounts assistants
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies
Qualifications
- CA Inter or Chartered Accountant level of knowledge is required
- 5 - 8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sector
- Proficient in accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and accounting standards
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Senior Accountant: 6 years (Preferred)
