Sales and Business Development:
- Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets (value and volume).
- Market Coverage: Increase Weighted and Numerical Distribution by identifying and appointing new distributors/super-stockists in uncovered markets.
- Channel Management: Focus on maximizing sales across all channels including General Trade (GT)
- Visibility & Activation: Execute trade promotion schemes, merchandising drives, and Point-of-Sale (POS) material placement to enhance brand presence and off-take.
- Competition Analysis: Continuously monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and product launches, and provide timely feedback to the management.
Team and Distributor Management:
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, train, and manage a team of SOs/SRs to maximize their productivity and coverage.
- Distributor Management: Manage the operational health and inventory of distributors, ensuring optimum stock levels (no stock-out or overstocking) and timely payment collections.
- Field Coaching: Conduct regular Joint Working with team members to mentor them on beat planning, outlet coverage, sales pitch, and relationship building.
- Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members and distributor sales representatives.
Reporting and Operations:
- Data Analysis: Utilize sales data to analyze performance, identify gaps in coverage/distribution, and develop immediate action plans.
- Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts for the territory.
- MIS Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submission of daily sales reports, expense reports, and market feedback.
Credit & Inventory: Strict control over market outstanding and adherence to company policies on damaged, expired, or returned goods.
