Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. (CS/IT) / MCA / Equivalent or higher from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Scope of Work
- Good knowledge of Database concepts and Database development in PostgreSQL/MySQL.
- Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, and manage PostgreSQL instances in standalone and cluster environments.
- Perform PostgreSQL server patching, replication, log shipping, and database migration.
- Administer PostgreSQL/MySQL databases including base definition, structure documentation, operational guidelines, and security.
- Implement High Availability (HA) clustering and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Provide operational support for production databases and monitoring systems.
- Design and develop physical database layers in PostgreSQL/MySQL using partitioning and advanced database features.
- Provide technical assistance and mentoring to project teams.
- Support application development teams in database design, security, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Analyze PostgreSQL/MySQL and OS performance and implement tuning recommendations.
- Write and review PostgreSQL/MySQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Deploy PostgreSQL/MySQL database objects and maintain database backups before deployment.
- Manage database users, roles, and access rights.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
