Job Summary
The Assistant Professor – Statistics will be responsible for teaching statistical concepts and quantitative techniques to management students, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and administrative activities within the Management Department. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to apply statistical tools in business and management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures in Statistics, Business Statistics, Quantitative Techniques, Research Methodology, Data Analysis, and related subjects for undergraduate and postgraduate management programs.
- Develop course curriculum, lesson plans, study material, assignments, case studies, and assessment tools as per university guidelines.
- Guide students in statistical applications, data interpretation, research projects, dissertations, and quantitative analysis.
- Utilize statistical software/tools such as SPSS, R, Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms for teaching and research purposes.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly articles in reputed journals, and participate in conferences, seminars, FDPs, and workshops.
- Mentor and counsel students for academic growth and career development.
- Participate in accreditation, NAAC/NBA processes, departmental activities, examination duties, and academic administration.
- Contribute to curriculum enhancement and introduce innovative teaching methodologies aligned with industry requirements.
- Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary research and consultancy projects.
- Maintain records related to teaching, attendance, assessment, and student progress.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree in Statistics / Applied Statistics / Mathematics / Business Analytics / Data Science with specialization in Statistics with minimum qualifying marks as per regulatory norms.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D. as per UGC/AICTE norms.
- Prior teaching, research, or industry experience in statistics, analytics, or quantitative research will be preferred.
Required Skills

- Knowledge of Research Methodology and Data Analytics.
- Proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
