- Set up VMC/CNC machines as per job requirements, tooling layout, and process sheets.
- Load programs, verify offsets, and ensure correct tool selection and tool life management.
- Conduct trial runs and validate part dimensions before handing over to operators.
- Monitor production targets (shift-wise) and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Coordinate with planning, tooling, and quality departments for smooth production flow.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and adherence to work instructions on the shop floor.
- Maintain production data sheet, tool consumption logs, rejection/ rework records, and shift handover notes
- Ensure proper documentation of process parameters, control plans, and job changeover details.
- Train operators and helpers on machine operations, measurement techniques, and quality requirements.
- Ensure material inward, transfer internally at various plant for dispatch and packaging.
