Mechanic
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose Issues: Find the root cause of mechanical or electrical problems using testing equipment and physical inspections.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled services like oil changes, fluid checks, and brake pad replacements.
- Repair and Replace: Swap out broken or worn-out parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic software.
- Customer Service: Explain vehicle defects and repair options clearly to vehicle owners.
- Record Keeping: Maintain logs of all diagnostic tests, parts used, and completed maintenance work.
- Safety Compliance: Follow workplace safety rules and keep tools and the work area clean and secure.
