Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to support day-to-day construction site operations. This role involves site supervision, maintaining site records, and preparing daily progress reports to ensure projects are executed efficiently and according to approved plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision
- Monitor daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site workers for smooth project execution.
- Track material usage, workmanship quality, and site safety compliance.
- Report site issues, delays, or deviations to the Project Manager.
Site Records & Documentation
- Maintain records of materials, labor attendance, and daily site expenses.
- Update material stock, inward, and outward registers.
- Assist with measurement records and basic billing documentation.
Daily Progress Reporting
- Prepare daily progress and hurdle reports highlighting challenges, delays, and site updates.
- Document work progress with photographs and brief descriptions.
- Support senior engineers in identifying and resolving site-related issues.
Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of construction drawings and site execution.
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain simple records and reports.
- Familiarity with MS Excel, WhatsApp reporting, and basic documentation.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to ride a two-wheeler for site travel.
