- Guest Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean, dust, polish, and vacuum assigned guest rooms, including changing bed linens, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenishing Supplies: Restock towels, toiletries, bathroom items, coffee/tea, and minibar items.
- Maintaining Public Areas: Clean assigned public areas, such as corridors, hallways, or nearby lounges.
- Reporting & Safety: Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken lamps, clogged drains) to supervisors, and adhere to health and safety regulations, including handling cleaning chemicals safely.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests politely and respond to special requests for extra supplies (pillows, towels).
Key Requirements & Skills
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods, as well as lift, push, and pull cleaning carts and equipment.
- Attention to Detail: High standards of cleanliness and efficiency to ensure rooms are inviting.
- Time Management: Ability to clean a set number of rooms within a designated timeframe.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or professional cleaning is often preferred, but not always required.
