Job Summary
Dr. Muthus Multispeciality Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dialysis Technician to provide safe and effective dialysis treatment to patients with kidney disorders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patients during treatment, and ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate hemodialysis machines before each treatment session.
- Assess and prepare patients for dialysis procedures as per physician instructions.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition before, during, and after dialysis.
- Assist nephrologists and nursing staff in delivering quality dialysis care.
- Ensure proper vascular access care and promptly report any complications.
- Perform routine cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of dialysis machines and equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient treatment records and dialysis documentation.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices, biomedical waste management protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
- Monitor dialysis water treatment systems and report any abnormalities.
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and departmental protocols.
Eligibility
- Diploma or B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology.
- Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in a dialysis unit are welcome to apply.
- BLS certification will be an added advantage.
