Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with Azure expertise who can take ownership of solution architecture for enterprise-scale cloud platforms. This role requires a strong background in Microsoft Azure, Python, cloud-native architecture, data engineering, distributed systems, and solution design.
The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader, defining architecture standards, guiding engineering teams, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own end-to-end solution architecture on Microsoft Azure.
- Build scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications using Python and Azure services.
- Architect data ingestion, transformation, storage, and processing pipelines.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams and external vendors.
- Review solution designs to ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Drive integration strategies across distributed systems and enterprise applications.
- Resolve complex technical challenges and serve as the primary escalation point.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
- Mentor senior and junior engineers while promoting engineering excellence.
Required Skills
- 6–9 years of experience in Python and Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
- Advanced Python programming and application architecture.
- Expertise in Azure cloud services and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience building large-scale data pipelines and data processing solutions.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and system integrations.
- Experience defining architecture standards and technical governance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to independently own architecture and technical delivery.
Preferred Skills
- Azure Solution Architect, Azure Developer, or Azure Data Engineer certifications.
- Experience with Blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT).
- Exposure to enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience mentoring development teams.
- Understanding of business processes and data-driven architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Azure, Python, Cloud Architecture, or Data Engineering certifications are an added advantage.
