Multi-Skilled Technician – Plumbing & Electrical
Job Summary
The Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of plumbing and electrical systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, pumps, water supply, drainage, and sanitary fixtures.
- Carry out electrical maintenance, including wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, distribution boards, and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify plumbing leaks, blockages, and electrical faults.
- Conduct preventive maintenance according to scheduled maintenance plans.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
- Inspect equipment and systems to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical, plumbing, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work reports, and spare parts usage.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance staff to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or a related technical field.
- Certification in electrical or plumbing trade is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, or industrial maintenance.
- Experience in both plumbing and electrical systems is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of plumbing installations and repairs.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintenance reporting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, or on-call when required.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
- Physically fit to lift equipment and perform maintenance tasks.

Maintenance Supervisor / Facility Manager
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
