About the Role
We are a newly acquired Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our core leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in setting up and scaling the NBFC from the ground up.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in NBFC operations and should have been part of the setup, launch, or expansion of an NBFC, FinTech, Bank, or other regulated lending institution. The role requires someone who can independently take ownership of operations while working closely with the Promoters and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational setup and day-to-day functioning of the NBFC.
- Develop and implement SOPs, operational processes, and internal control frameworks.
- Manage the complete lending lifecycle, including customer onboarding, KYC/AML, credit processing, loan documentation, disbursement, collections, and customer servicing.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and coordinate with auditors, consultants, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Draft, implement, and periodically review operational and regulatory policies, including Credit Policy, Loan Policy, KYC/AML Policy, Fair Practices Code, Risk Management Policy, and Collection & Recovery Policy.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), accounting software, CRM, and other technology platforms.
- Coordinate with banks, credit bureaus, technology vendors, and other external stakeholders.
- Prepare MIS, portfolio reports, compliance reports, and presentations for the management and Board.
- Assist in building and mentoring the operations team while driving a culture of compliance, efficiency, and customer service.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA (Finance), CA, CS, or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an NBFC, HFC, Bank, FinTech, or regulated lending institution.
- Candidates who have been part of the setup, launch, or scaling of an NBFC or digital lending business will be strongly preferred.
- Sound knowledge of RBI regulations, lending operations, KYC/AML, credit processes, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience with LMS, LOS, CRM, accounting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, technology-oriented, and capable of working independently in a startup-like environment with a high sense of ownership and accountability.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
