Ironclad Law Associates is a full-service law firm providing comprehensive legal solutions across Intellectual Property, Commercial Litigation, Corporate Advisory, Arbitration, Technology Law, Data Privacy, and Regulatory Compliance. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented IP Lawyer to strengthen our Intellectual Property practice.
Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Advising clients on trademarks, copyrights, patents, designs, trade secrets, domain names, and related IP matters.
- Conducting trademark availability searches, clearance opinions, and due diligence.
- Drafting, filing, prosecuting, and managing trademark, copyright, design, and patent applications before the relevant authorities.
- Preparing legal notices, cease-and-desist notices, replies, oppositions, rectifications, cancellations, and infringement actions.
- Handling IP litigation before the High Courts, Commercial Courts, and other judicial forums.
- Managing IP portfolios for domestic and international clients.
- Drafting IP licensing agreements, assignment deeds, franchise agreements, coexistence agreements, confidentiality agreements (NDAs), technology transfer agreements, and commercialization documents.
- Advising startups, MSMEs, technology companies, and multinational corporations on IP protection strategies.
- Assisting in brand protection, anti-counterfeiting actions, online infringement, and domain name disputes.
- Coordinating with foreign associates for international trademark and patent filings.
- Conducting legal research on emerging developments in Intellectual Property law.
- Participating in client meetings, business development initiatives, seminars, and knowledge sessions.

- Excellent drafting and legal research skills.
- Experience in IP litigation and prosecution.
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently handle client matters.
- Familiarity with WIPO procedures, Madrid Protocol, Hague System, and international IP filings is preferred.
- Experience with IP docketing software will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- LL.M. in Intellectual Property or relevant certification will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in handling:
- Trademark prosecution and litigation.
- Copyright registration and enforcement.
- Patent drafting and prosecution.
- Design registration.
- IP due diligence.
- Brand protection and anti-counterfeiting.
- Domain name disputes (UDRP/INDRP).
- Technology licensing and commercial contracts.
