BSC Legal advises clients on matters relating to SEBI, the Companies Act, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), covering regulatory compliances, advisory, litigation and dispute management, mediation, arbitration and conciliation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a CS cum Advocate with practical exposure to corporate law, insolvency matters and legal proceedings. The candidate will assist in handling corporate law and IBC matters, including legal research, drafting and litigation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in matters relating to Corporate Law and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
- Assist in preparation and review of legal notices, petitions, applications, replies and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research on the Companies Act, IBC, SEBI regulations and related laws.
- Assist in matters before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
- Prepare briefs, case summaries and supporting documents for advocates/counsels.
- Coordinate with advocates, counsels, clients and other stakeholders.
- Assist senior professionals in litigation and dispute management matters.
- Support matters involving corporate restructuring, insolvency and related proceedings.
- Assist with case management, documentation and tracking of legal proceedings.
- Participate in client discussions and assist in providing legal and regulatory inputs.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Qualified Company Secretary and Advocate.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to NCLT appearances and proceedings.
- Experience in assisting or briefing advocates/counsels in Corporate Law and IBC matters will be preferred.
- Strong legal drafting and research skills.
- Good understanding of the Companies Act, IBC and corporate legal framework.
- Strong communication, analytical and case-management skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per hour
