Job Summary
Recruza Alliance is looking for a customer-focused and experienced Service Advisor – Automotive to join our team in Bareilly. The Service Advisor will act as the primary point of contact between customers and the service workshop, ensuring a smooth service experience from vehicle reception to delivery.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of automotive servicing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand customer requirements while coordinating effectively with technicians and the workshop team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and understand their vehicle service and repair requirements.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare accurate job cards based on customer concerns.
- Explain required repairs, maintenance, service procedures, and estimated costs to customers.
- Coordinate with technicians and the workshop team to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Provide customers with regular updates regarding vehicle repair and service status.
- Prepare service estimates and obtain customer approval before carrying out additional work.
- Ensure all customer complaints and service requests are properly recorded and addressed.
- Conduct vehicle delivery inspections and explain completed work and service details to customers.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.
- Promote recommended services, maintenance packages, and genuine automotive products when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate service records, invoices, and customer information.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and work toward quick and effective resolution.
- Achieve customer satisfaction, service revenue, and other assigned performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with workshop processes, safety standards, and company policies.
Candidate Requirements
- B. Tech Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- 1–2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive dealership/workshop environment.
- Good understanding of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and basic automotive systems.
- Strong customer-handling and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of service processes and job-card preparation.
- Ability to coordinate with technicians and workshop staff.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with service management software is preferred.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented and fast-paced workshop environment.
