Job Summary
The Senior DB2 Administrator is responsible for delivering advanced technical support and operational oversight in DB2 systems, with a focus on performance tuning and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities
1. Provide Advanced Troubleshooting And Technical Support For Db2 Z/Os Systems, Performing Root Cause Analysis To Resolve Complex Incidents Efficiently And Effectively.
2. Implement Performance Tuning Strategies For Db2 Databases, Optimizing System Performance And Ensuring High Availability In Line With Industry Best Practices.
3. Manage And Update The Knowledge Base, Contributing To Documentation That Enhances Team Efficiency And Supports Ongoing Training Initiatives For New Analysts.
4. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Support Teams To Address Complex Tickets, Ensuring Timely Resolution Within Agreed Slas And Maintaining A Robust Security Posture.
5. Foster Positive Customer Experiences By Achieving High First Call Resolution Rates And Minimizing Case Reopens, While Proactively Addressing Potential Security Threats.
Skill Requirements
1. Advanced Proficiency In Db2 Systems & Dba, With A Focus On Performance Tuning In Db2 Z/Os.
