Job Summary
Kaizen Super Speciality Hospital is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee all financial and accounting operations of the hospital. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, cheque handling, billing records, payroll processing, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant must maintain complete transparency and provide accurate financial records and reports to the Hospital Director, ensuring effective financial planning and decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Manage and record all financial transactions accurately and timely.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and financial records.
- Monitor daily cash flow, bank transactions, and fund utilization.
- Ensure proper accounting of income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Cheque & Banking Operations
- Handle cheque preparation, issuance, deposits, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with banks regarding account management and transactions.
- Monitor bank balances and maintain proper banking records.
- Prepare and verify bank reconciliation statements regularly.
Billing & Payments
- Verify vendor bills, purchase invoices, and payment vouchers.
- Ensure timely processing of supplier and service provider payments.
- Maintain records of all payments, receipts, and outstanding liabilities.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
Payroll Management
- Process monthly salary payments accurately and on time.
- Maintain employee payroll records, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Coordinate with HR regarding attendance, leave records, and salary calculations.
- Generate salary statements and payroll reports.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate MIS reports and present financial summaries to the Hospital Director.
- Provide clear insights on revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
- Maintain complete financial transparency with management.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain all financial documents for internal and external audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and record retention as per legal requirements.
Director Reporting Responsibilities
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to the Hospital Director.
- Present a clear overview of hospital income, expenses, outstanding payments, and cash position.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions for management review.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure complete transparency and accountability in all financial operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- M.Com, CA Inter, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, and Payroll Management.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.

Performance Expectations
The Senior Accountant shall maintain complete and accurate financial records, ensure timely processing of all transactions, salaries, and payments, and provide the Hospital Director with clear, transparent, and actionable financial reports to support effective management and growth of the hospital.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
