We are looking for an experienced and technically qualified Deputy Manager – New Vendor Development (NVD) with a strong background in procurement, sourcing, imports, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead New Vendor Development activities for domestic and international procurement requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors/suppliers for electronic and communication-related products/materials.
Handle strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, pricing analysis, and procurement planning.
Manage complete import coordination including documentation, shipment tracking, customs clearance follow-up, and logistics management.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Conduct market visits across Delhi and PAN India for supplier development and business expansion.
Coordinate with internal departments for technical specifications, procurement requirements, and delivery schedules.
Ensure cost optimization, quality compliance, and timely procurement execution.
Maintain vendor database, procurement records, and MIS reports.
Required Qualifications:
B.Tech in Electronics & Communications (ECE / E&C).
5–7 years of experience in New Vendor Development (NVD), Procurement, Sourcing, Imports, or Supply Chain Management.
Strong knowledge of import procedures, international sourcing, and vendor management.
Experience in handling technical procurement and supplier negotiations.
Good understanding of procurement documentation, logistics coordination, and market sourcing.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement reporting tools.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage vendor development and procurement operations.
Willingness to travel across Delhi and PAN India as per business requirements.
Experience in electronics, telecom, industrial products, or technical procurement will be preferred.
