Accounts Manager (Credit Control)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager to oversee our credit control function. The role involves managing receivables, minimizing credit risk, and ensuring timely collections while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the company’s debtors and receivables portfolio
- Follow up with clients for outstanding payments and ensure timely collections
- Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers
- Prepare and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing disputes
- Prepare ageing reports and MIS for management review
- Liaise with sales and operations teams for credit-related matters
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and accounting standards
- Draft official emails, notices, and correspondence related to collections
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualification: Graduate in Commerce – B.Com / BBA
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in accounts, credit control, or receivables management
- Skills: Strong command over written and spoken English & Hindi with exceptional drafting ability
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and debtor management
- Proficient in Tally/ERP and MS Excel
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Age: Candidates between 20 to 40 years
