Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of chemical plant equipment including pumps (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm), agitators, gearboxes, reactors, and valves.
- Utility Systems: Overhauling and repairing utility equipment such as cooling towers, air compressors, and glass-lined reactors (GLR).
- Alignment & Assembly: Precision alignment of pumps and motors, replacement of mechanical seals, gland packings, and bearings.
- Pipeline Work: Handling pipeline fabrication, modifications, and structural fitting work as per plant requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with chemical plant safety norms, hot work permits, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: ITI Fitter / Mechanist or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of solid experience in a Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Petrochemical manufacturing plant.
