About the Job Role:
We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Captain to join our café team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure a welcoming atmosphere, and support daily café operations.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Assist customers with menu choices and answer questions about ingredients and specials
- Handle billing, payments, and POS systems responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations
- Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards at all times
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
- Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
- Address customer concerns politely and escalate issues when required
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality role is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
