Whitter Group is building its first remote manga/comic production team in India. We are looking for talented students, beginners, self-taught artists, and junior digital artists who want an opportunity to gain real production experience and grow with a new organization.
Professional experience is not required. Selection is based primarily on demonstrated ability, reliability, and ability to follow a production system.
Key responsibilities:
- Create clean, simple line art and flat/simple coloring for manga/comic panels using provided character references, visual guidelines, and production instructions.
- Work with an assigned production team to maintain character appearance, colors, environments, and visual continuity across sequential panels and chapters.
- Follow provided production standards for file organization, artwork specifications, revisions, deadlines, and quality control while communicating reliably with your team and team lead.
Training and progression
Selected candidates will begin with approximately two weeks of paid training using our character references, style guidelines, and production workflow.
Candidates who successfully complete training may progress to real freelance production assignments compensated per accepted panel/task.
Reliable high-performing contributors may later qualify for regular ongoing work, increased rates, hourly compensation opportunities, bonuses, priority assignments, senior/QC positions, team-lead opportunities, and royalty participation on eligible projects.

Ideal candidates should:
- Have basic digital drawing ability
- Be comfortable creating clean line art and simple coloring
- Be able to reproduce characters from visual references
- Have good attention to detail
- Be willing to learn and follow a standardized production workflow
- Communicate reliably with a remote team
- Be receptive to constructive feedback and revisions
- Have an interest in manga, comics, webcomics, anime, or digital illustration
The initial artwork is intentionally simple and repeatable. Advanced professional-level illustration experience is not required.

Pay: ₹10,133.01 - ₹35,461.06 per month
