Specialist, Talent Development

Structured to achieve tight alignment with the businesses while advancing Deloitte’s brand in the marketplace, this team consists of dedicated Development Advisors and Subject Matter Advisors (SMAs).
Work you'll do
As a Specialist, Talent Development on the Learning & Development team, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, support key initiatives, and align execution to business priorities.
- Supporting governance, operational reviews, and strategic planning activities by tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, action items, and progress against objectives.
- Preparing executive summaries, presentations, scorecards, and business updates to support leadership decision-making and program reporting.
- Managing learning and development programs end to end, including coordination with vendors, delivery teams, and evaluation teams to support practitioner experience and program effectiveness.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, accrual management, and performance tracking activities while identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
The team
In our US India offices, the Learning & Development team supports capability development, professional networking and career progression for the region's professionals. The team specializes in connecting the dots between internal and external team members to provide a wholistic learning solution to business and come across as one.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM
Work Model: 2 days work from office, 3 days work from home
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, or equivalent postgraduate degree
- 6+ years of experience in learning and development or talent development within matrixed organizations supporting international markets
- Experience managing end-to-end training processes, including training needs identification for technology-focused programs
- Experience with vendor management, project management, and program management
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, spending tracking, and accrual management
- Experience working with cross-border stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Experience using learning measurement, analytics, and reporting to assess program effectiveness and support decision-making
Preferred:
- Experience supporting learning programs for consulting or professional services businesses
- Experience producing scorecards, dashboards, or metric reports for learning programs
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and reporting or dashboard tools
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements or automation opportunities
