Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products and materials within the warehouse.
Ensure proper organization and maintenance of inventory, both in terms of quality and quantity.
Monitor warehouse layout and storage to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
Manage the loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
Ensure all items are properly tagged, labeled, and stored in the appropriate locations.
Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
Develop work schedules and assign tasks to warehouse personnel.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of warehouse staff, providing feedback and coaching where necessary.
Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols.
Foster a positive work environment and ensure good communication among team members.
Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that all stock is tracked and accounted for.
Perform regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies in stock levels.
Work with procurement and supply chain teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to warehouse operations and safety.
Maintain a safe working environment by following safety procedures, conducting training, and performing routine safety checks.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials (if applicable).
