Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to support land acquisition activities for renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Hybrid, BESS, and Transmission Infrastructure) across Gujarat. The incumbent will be responsible for conducting land identification, cadastral surveys, boundary verification, revenue map interpretation, land measurement, and supporting the land acquisition team in securing suitable project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Land Identification & Survey

Conduct reconnaissance and detailed site surveys for identification of land parcels suitable for renewable energy projects.

Carry out cadastral, boundary, and land measurement surveys using DGPS, GPS, Total Station, and other survey instruments.

Verify land parcel coordinates, accessibility, terrain conditions, and site constraints.
Revenue Record Verification

Review and interpret revenue records including Village Maps, 7/12 Extracts, Form 6, Form 8A, Mutation Entries, Record of Rights (RoR), and other land-related documents.

Coordinate with Talati, Circle Office, Mamlatdar Office, and Revenue Authorities for land verification and demarcation activities.

Identify ownership patterns, encumbrances, disputes, and land-use restrictions.
Land Acquisition Support

Assist the Land Acquisition team in preparation of land due diligence reports.

Validate land boundaries and ownership details before lease, purchase, or right-of-way agreements.

Support negotiations by providing accurate survey inputs and land measurements.

Coordinate with landowners, local representatives, survey consultants, and government authorities.
Mapping & Documentation

Prepare survey reports, cadastral maps, KML files, GIS data, and land parcel databases.

Generate land aggregation status reports and maintain project-wise land records.

Support preparation of layouts and land plans for project development activities.
Stakeholder Coordination

Liaise with government departments, local authorities, consultants, and internal stakeholders for survey and land-related activities.

Support regulatory approvals and land conversion processes wherever required.
Required Skills

Strong understanding of Gujarat land revenue systems and land documentation.

Experience in cadastral surveys, land demarcation, and boundary verification.

Proficiency in DGPS, GPS, Total Station, AutoCAD, Google Earth, and GIS applications.

Ability to read and interpret revenue maps, FMBs, village maps, and ownership records.

Good stakeholder management and negotiation support skills.

Willingness to travel extensively across Gujarat and work in remote locations.
Educational Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, Geography, or related discipline.
Preferred Experience
-
5–10 years of experience in land surveying and land acquisition activities.

Prior experience in renewable energy (Solar/Wind), transmission, infrastructure, industrial parks, highways, or large-scale land aggregation projects.

Familiarity with Gujarat land laws, revenue procedures, and government approval processes will be preferred.
