Speech therapist Role Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders and work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines to provide holistic recovery to the child.
- Design, perform and revise plans of care and administer treatment for speech-language disorders for special children with one or multiple disorders like Cerebral Palsy (CP), Mental Retardation (MR), Autism, Learning disabilities, ADHD, stammering etc.
- Primary work would be conducting one-on-one speech therapy sessions for kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Delayed Speech and Delayed Milestones.
- To maintain and update individual and group records during sessions.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with parents and other stakeholders
- Maintain a safe and child-centered environment.
- Conduct necessary assessments and maintain lesson plans and maintain tracking file for every kid.
Specific Job Requirements:
Education: BASLP / MASLP (Bachelor/Master in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology) OR Graduation & Diploma in Speech Pathology.
Skills: Speech therapy, language intervention, articulation therapy, fluency/stuttering therapy, oral-motor techniques.
Experience: Freshers welcome; pediatric experience preferred.

Role Description of Special Educator/Remedial Educator
Deliver structured one-on-one and group instruction using differentiated teaching strategies, multi-sensory methods, and adapted curriculum materials.
Assess academic, cognitive, and functional learning needs to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s strengths and challenges.
- Work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Intellectual Disability (ID), Learning Disabilities (LD), Developmental Delays, and other special learning needs.
- Implement interventions targeting literacy, numeracy, attention, memory, communication, social skills, and classroom readiness.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and parents to ensure coordinated multidisciplinary support.
- Monitor student progress through continuous assessments, maintain comprehensive documentation, and revise IEP goals as needed; guide parents on strategies for home reinforcement.
Specific Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or certification recognized under RCI/NCTE (or equivalent). Skills: Strong knowledge of IEP development, curriculum modification, and differentiated instructional strategies. Experience teaching children with ASD, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and other special learning needs. Ability to conduct academic and functional assessments, document progress, and revise IEPs based on student performance.
