Job Summary
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and executing MEP activities for commercial interior fit-out projects. The role will involve site execution, technical coordination, drawing review, material coordination, quality control, and ensuring MEP works are completed as per project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in commercial interior fit-out projects and be capable of coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate MEP activities at commercial interior fit-out project sites.
- Review MEP drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with Design, BIM, Architecture, Civil, Interior, and Site Execution teams.
- Supervise installation and execution of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV/BMS and other MEP services.
- Ensure MEP works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and clients.
- Monitor project progress and ensure MEP activities are completed as per schedule.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and site coordination clashes.
- Coordinate material requirements with Procurement and Stores teams.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality and workmanship standards are maintained.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Monitor MEP manpower, materials, and resources at site.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and project EHS requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain MEP project documentation.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide updates on MEP progress and issues.
- Support the Project Manager in planning and execution of MEP works.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant MEP certifications will be an advantage.
Experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in MEP Engineering / Project Execution.
- Strong experience in commercial interior fit-out projects preferred.
- Hands-on experience in MEP installation, coordination, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
