Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Child / Development Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. This role involves providing therapy, conducting psychological testing, and developing individualized treatment plans to help children manage and overcome their issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized intervention plans based on the child’s needs and assessment findings.
- Monitor and document the child’s progress and provide inputs for modifying intervention plans as required.
- Provide guidance and support to patients’ families.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diploma, or M.Phil. in Psychology, Child Development, Human Development or a related field.
Experience:
- 0.6 Months to 2 years of work experience
Skills:
- Strong understanding of child development and psychology
- Effective communication with children and families
- Empathy, patience and child-friendly approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
Added Advantage
- Child assessment, observation and progress monitoring
- Individualized intervention planning
- Case history taking and report writing
- Experience maintaining clinical records and documentation
- Knowledge of developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental conditions
