Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately capture vital contract metadata, financial values, renewal mechanisms, and notice periods.
- Formulate and execute complex Boolean and keyword search strings to efficiently filter, organize, and prioritize large datasets.
- Review high-volume corporate files and litigation documents for relevance, Responsiveness, Privilege, PII and Confidentiality as per the review protocol.
- Identify, code, and execute precise redactions to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), trade secrets, and commercially sensitive data.
- Maintain absolute compliance with the secure facility's strict data safety, confidentiality, data-handling, and clean-desk protocols.
- Perform meticulous Quality Control (QC) checks on data fields, document reviews, contract abstracts, and redactions processed by junior team members to ensure alignment with client requirements and quality targets.
- Clean, audit, and format final metadata sheets utilizing Microsoft Excel for bulk upload into client databases.
- Design, implement, and lead structured on-the-job training programs for entry-level freshers and new hires on the abstraction and eDiscovery workflows.
- Mentor junior team members through regular feedback loops, helping them understand complex commercial boilerplate provisions and improve their speed and accuracy.
- Lead daily team huddles, calibration sessions, and knowledge-sharing meetings to align interpretation standards across the production floor and meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Manage and allocate daily workload and volume allocations across the review team to ensure strict client deadlines and project targets are consistently met.
- Monitor operational error trends, inconsistencies and implement corrective action plans to optimize overall team performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 to 3 years of dedicated experience in contract abstraction, QC, redaction, and document review
- Deep, practical understanding of commercial contract architecture, corporate boilerplate provisions, redaction protocols (PII/PHI masking), and eDiscovery review workflows
- Willingness to strech beyond regular hours to meet client deadlines.
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Proven, hands-on experience using industry-standard CLM tools or eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw) with native redaction functionalities is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, data filtering, text-to-columns) for data auditing and reporting.
- Exceptional eye for textual detail, mathematical accuracy in financial clauses, and a zero-error mindset regarding sensitive data exposure.
- Strong communication skills to guide freshers, explain complex legal interpretations, and interface effectively with project managers.
- Reliable attendance and seamless adaptability to structured onsite shift schedules.
