Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated PLC Programmer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience to join our automation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning PLC-based control systems, along with supporting panel design and on-site execution activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and debug PLC programs for industrial control panels and automation systems
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, SLDs, and panel BOQs
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs ( Schneider, Delta, Mitsubishi, or similar)
- Configure and integrate HMI systems with PLC logic
- Carry out on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of control panels and automation systems
- Coordinate with the electrical design team for panel wiring, control logic, and component selection
- Diagnose and resolve PLC, HMI, and field-instrumentation faults at client locations
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including program backups, I/O lists, and wiring/logic diagrams
- Provide technical support to clients during installation, commissioning, and post-commissioning phases
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and company quality procedures
Required Skills & Competencies
- Practical experience in PLC programming (ladder logic / function block / structured text)
- Working knowledge of at least one major PLC brand (Siemens, Schneider, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.)
- Understanding of control panel components — MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, relays, busbars, VFDs
- Ability to read and work from electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOQs
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills for client-facing site work
Qualifications
- Diploma /Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in PLC programming / industrial automation
- Willingness to travel for site visits, installation, and commissioning assignments
