Oversee complete SMT line operations including Printer, Pick & place, Reflow, SPI and AOI processes. Ensure smooth running of SMT lines to achieve daily production targets. Monitor line balancing, cycle time, and production efficiency. Coordinate with production planning team for smooth execution of schedules. Ensure proper machine setup, calibration, and changeover. Coordinate preventive maintenance and breakdown support with maintenance team. Ensure machine uptime and minimize downtime. Monitor soldering quality, placement accuracy, and process defects. Work closely with Quality team to reduce defects and rework. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Improve SMT line efficiency and productivity. Reduce material wastage, defects, and rework. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S practices in SMT area. Optimize changeover time and improve throughput. Manage SMT operators, technicians, and line supervisors. Train operators on machine operation and safety procedures. Allocate manpower effectively across SMT lines. Ensure availability of materials, components, and BOM requirements. Track WIP (Work in Progress) and ensure timely completion of orders. Maintain SMT production records, machine logs, and quality documentation. Follow SOPs and work instructions strictly.
