Purpose - To drive innovative mechanical design and research initiatives, transforming conceptual engineering challenges into optimized, mathematically sound models ready for industry application.
Impact - Your work will directly influence the efficiency, structural integrity, and thermal performance of advanced mechanical systems. By pushing the boundaries of simulation and design, you will deliver tangible R&D solutions that elevate our product pipeline and provide immense value to our external mechanical sector partners.
Daily Tasks -
1. Research: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews, technology capability studies, and engineering baseline assessments for emerging mechanical systems.
2. Design: Draft, iterate, and refine detailed 2D layouts and 3D CAD models, focusing on geometry parameterization and structural optimization.
3. Analyze: Perform rigorous structural, thermal, and fluid analysis on mechanical components to identify stress points, optimize performance, and ensure real-world reliability.
4. Development: Assist in the end-to-end R&D cycle, bridging the gap between initial theoretical concepts and final, simulation-tested models.
5. Coordinate and Manage: Track project milestones, manage complex simulation datasets, and coordinate daily objectives effectively with the internal engineering team and leadership.
Collaboration -
You will act as a core technical liaison, collaborating directly with individual clients and external companies operating across various mechanical and industrial sectors. This involves gathering exact design requirements, communicating simulation results, and tailoring engineering solutions to meet specific client needs.
Key Outputs -
1. Comprehensive, manufacturing-ready 3D CAD models and geometry datasets.
2. Detailed simulation and analysis reports (FEA, CFD, ETM) with actionable optimization recommendations.
3. High-quality R&D documentation and design layouts suitable for client handoffs and technical presentations.
Qualifications & Skills -
1. Minimum Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Core Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Fusion 360.
3. Simulation Expertise: ANSYS.(Note: Strong preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated expertise in ANSYS and its associated simulation domains, particularly in structural, thermal, and fluid analysis).
