Key Responsibilities
Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise WAF platforms (Akamai Kona, App & API Protector).Tune security policies, custom rules, rate controls, and bot manager configurations to minimize false positives.
Skill Requirements
Handle Layer 7 DDoS mitigation and API security deployments.Perform regular health checks, security event log analysis, and traffic audits.Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to onboard new web properties onto the Akamai edge platform
Other Requirements
3+ years of hands-on cloud security experience focusing on Akamai web security solutions.Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, DNS, SSL/TLS, and CDN architectures.
