❖Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and preventing language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
❖Communicating with the patient, and liaising with their family members,
❖Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in clients.
❖Administer standardized tests and specialized evaluation tools to determine the extent and nature of communication difficulties.
❖Using tried and tested therapies in combination with new, innovative techniques to provide the best care.
❖Employ various techniques and exercises to enhance speech articulation, language comprehension, expression, and pragmatics.
❖Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods for clients who have severe communication impairments.
❖Keeping up to date with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research, and expanding professional and academic networks.
❖Able to handle voice disorders, dysarthria, aphasia, aphraxia, language disorders and Dysphagia management
❖Educating patients and their families on speech disorders and available therapies.
❖Taking detailed notes on patient history and progress.
❖Evaluating patient progress and implementing changes to therapy programs as required.
❖Able to do swallow therapy for adult patients with neurological deficits.
❖Update the daily documentation.
❖Should be flexible if any additional/changes in responsibilities by the management.
