1. Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment.
2. Prepare and maintain teaching and learning resources, exams and tests.
3. Monitor the training, tools, machinery, equipment and materials used in training programs to ensure they are maintained to the standards required.
4. Motivate and counsel candidates for placement.
5. Supervise and monitor student progress on a regular basis and assess student skills and competencies against required standards and in accordance with curriculum/training package documentation.
6. Establish and maintain a learning environment, including coaching and encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning.
