Job Summary
The IRD Senior Steward is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and efficient in-room dining service while ensuring the highest standards of hospitality. The role includes taking guest orders, preparing and delivering food and beverages, maintaining service quality, and supporting the IRD team in daily operations to enhance guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms as per hotel standards and SOPs.
- Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and delivered within the specified time.
- Set up and clear in-room dining trays and trolleys professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of IRD pantry, equipment, and service areas.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and cashier to ensure smooth order processing.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly and professionally.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before delivery.
- Assist in inventory control of IRD supplies, cutlery, crockery, and operating equipment.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Support the IRD Captain in training junior stewards and maintaining service standards.
- Ensure billing procedures are followed accurately and guest signatures are obtained when required.
- Promote hotel services and upsell menu items whenever appropriate.
- Participate in daily briefings and departmental meetings.
- Maintain grooming standards and professional conduct at all times.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the department head.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
- 2–4 years of experience in In-Room Dining or Food & Beverage Service.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and hotel service standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
