Supervise day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy stores.
Receive, verify, and document medicines and pharmaceutical supplies against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Ensure medicines are stored according to manufacturer and hospital requirements, including temperature-controlled storage.

Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, inventory registers, and computerized stock transactions.
Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and consumption patterns to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) stock rotation.
Identify slow-moving, excess, damaged, and near-expiry medicines and coordinate appropriate action.
Coordinate with the purchase department and approved vendors for timely procurement.
Prepare/verify purchase orders and pharmacy indents as required.
Ensure timely supply of medicines to wards, ICU, OT, emergency, and other hospital departments.
Maintain proper records for controlled, narcotic, and other regulated medicines as applicable.
Handle medicine returns, recalls, shortages, and quality-related issues.
