Position Summary The Officer – Grant Management will support the full grant lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence, compliance, monitoring, reporting, financial review, dashboard development and partnership management. The role strengthens transparency, accountability, and data driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Onboarding & Due Diligence
Streamline, prepare and review Grant Request Forms (GRFs) and project proposals. Conduct compliance checks as per country-specific regulatory requirements. Perform due diligence assessments of partner organisations. Ensure documentation completeness and alignment with organisation and donor guidelines.
Grant Monitoring & Impact Reporting
Monitor funded projects through structured review mechanisms. Prepare Project Impact Reports (PIRs) and performance summaries. Track outputs, outcomes, and impact metrics. Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions. Financial Review & Disbursement Support Coordinate with the Accounts team for timely and error-free disbursements. Review financial reports and utilisation certificates. Maintain financial tracking systems and support audits.
Data Management & Dashboarding
Maintain project-related data repositories. Create dashboards, MIS reports, and presentations for senior management. Partnership Management Maintain strong relationships with partner organisations across the globe. Guide partners on reporting standards and compliance requirements. Support capacity building initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Programs, Finance, Communications, and Leadership teams. Support strategic documentation and special initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Economics, Development Studies or related field. 1-2 years of relevant experience in grant management or nonprofit operations. Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Canva and PowerPoint. Basic financial literacy and ability to review financial reports.
