The Quality Controller is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality and safety of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. The role involves conducting inspections, testing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality policies.
Key Responsibilities1. Quality Inspection & Control
- Conduct quality checks on raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Identify and report deviations, defects, or non-conformities.
- Verify product quality parameters such as appearance, texture, moisture, weight, and packaging integrity.
2. Food Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards including FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and GHP requirements.
- Monitor hygiene and sanitation practices across production areas.
- Support implementation and maintenance of food safety management systems.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
3. Laboratory Testing
- Collect samples for physical, chemical, and microbiological testing.
- Maintain testing records and analyze results.
- Coordinate with external laboratories when required.
- Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of testing equipment.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test results.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Record and investigate customer complaints and quality incidents.
- Ensure traceability documentation is maintained.
5. Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Investigate quality issues and identify root causes.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Follow up on implementation and effectiveness of corrective measures.
6. Training & Awareness
- Train production employees on quality standards, hygiene, and food safety practices.
- Promote quality awareness across departments.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
