Description
As an Azure Solution Architect, you will design, implement, and guide cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure that meet performance, security, scalability, and cost objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, and operations to translate business requirements into robust architectures, ensure best practices, and oversee delivery across cloud-native and hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable Azure solutions aligned with business goals and technical constraints.
- Create architecture diagrams, reference architectures, solution blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Define infrastructure-as-code standards and implement deployments using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Develop and drive migration strategies for on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud scenarios.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to define CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and governance processes.
- Establish identity and access management, security controls, and compliance measures using Azure services.
- Optimize cost, performance, and availability; design disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and perform architecture and code reviews.
- Engage with stakeholders and vendors to evaluate third-party services and ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of cloud architecture experience with at least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience designing solutions using Infrastructure as Code, containers, serverless, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, identity, and data platform services within Azure.
- Experience with migration projects, hybrid connectivity, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.
