Hotel HR Manager – Key Job Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Selection
- Source, screen, interview, and hire employees for all hotel departments.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Employee Relations
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Maintain positive employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Payroll & Attendance
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and overtime.
- Coordinate payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
- Training & Development
- Identify training needs and organize employee training programs.
- Support career development and succession planning.
- Performance Management
- Conduct performance appraisals and employee evaluations.
- Assist department heads in setting performance goals.
- Compliance & Legal Requirements
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and hotel policies.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Staff Welfare
- Manage employee welfare activities, accommodation, transportation, and canteen facilities where applicable.
- Organize employee events and recognition programs.
- Manpower Planning
- Monitor staffing levels and coordinate workforce planning with department heads.
- Control labor costs while maintaining service standards.
- HR Administration
- Maintain employee files, contracts, and HRMIS records.
- Prepare HR reports for management review.
- Coordination with Management
- Advise management on HR policies and workforce-related matters.
- Support hotel operations by ensuring adequate staffing and employee productivity.
Reporting To: Resort Manager
Typical Qualification: MBA/PGDM in HR or related field
Experience: Usually 5–10+ years in HR, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Pay: ₹25,515.72 - ₹35,000.00 per month
