Hiring Alert – Credit Manager | Kothamangalam
Homeshine Financial Service is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Manager to lead credit assessment and risk evaluation activities for our finance and chit fund operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in credit appraisal, customer due diligence, and portfolio monitoring, ensuring sound lending decisions while supporting sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess loan and chit fund applications by evaluating applicants' financial standing, repayment capability, and associated risk factors.
- Conduct customer verification, reference checks, and field investigations whenever required.
- Examine KYC records, income documents, bank statements, and other supporting financial information.
- Make informed recommendations on credit approvals based on established policies and risk parameters.
- Track portfolio performance and coordinate with recovery teams to address delinquent accounts.
- Ensure adherence to internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable RBI guidelines.
- Prepare credit assessment reports, portfolio reviews, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
- Identify emerging credit risks and recommend measures to strengthen portfolio quality.
- Collaborate with branch teams to facilitate efficient processing and timely disbursement of cases.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to credit evaluations and approvals.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit operations within NBFCs, banking institutions, or chit fund organizations.
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, risk analysis, portfolio management, and collections.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Candidates based in Kothamangalam or nearby locations will be given preference.
