We are seeking a Murex MxML Support Consultant with experience in Murex MX.3 support, MxML Exchange, workflow configuration, and interface support. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Murex interfaces and workflows while ensuring smooth trade processing and system integration across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and Finance applications.
The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of Murex MX.3, XML technologies, workflow routing, and production support within Capital Markets environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting Murex MX.3 applications.
- Basic to intermediate experience with MxML Exchange and workflows.
- Knowledge of XML, XSL, and XSLT.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Understanding of trade lifecycle processes and Capital Markets concepts.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Java development.
- Knowledge of MQ messaging technologies.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub, TeamCity, Nexus, or ANT.
- Exposure to production support processes.
- Understanding of Front Office, Risk, Finance, or Treasury systems.
- Knowledge of release and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities
Murex Support
- Provide L2 production support for Murex MxML interfaces and workflows.
- Monitor inbound and outbound trade messaging processes.
- Support MxML Exchange workflows and interface configurations.
- Investigate workflow failures, message processing issues, and interface exceptions.
- Perform issue analysis and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Support trade lifecycle processing activities including trade capture, confirmations, settlements, and event management.
- Assist in workflow routing, template configuration, and exception handling.
- Support SIT, UAT, and Production deployments.
Interface & Integration Support
- Support import/export interfaces between Murex and external systems.
- Assist in message transformation, validation, and enrichment activities.
- Work with XML, XSL, and XSLT configurations.
- Support MQ-based messaging and interface monitoring.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve integration issues.
Operational Support
- Monitor application health and interface performance.
- Maintain support documentation and operational procedures.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis activities.
- Escalate critical issues and support resolution efforts.
- Ensure stability and availability of Murex interface environments.
