Cybernaut EdTech is looking for a skilled and passionate Cybersecurity Trainer to educate and mentor students and interns in cybersecurity concepts, ethical hacking fundamentals, and security best practices. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, practical exposure to cybersecurity tools, and excellent communication skills to guide learners effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct training sessions on Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking concepts
- Teach topics including Network Security, Web Security, Cryptography, and Cyber Threats
- Guide students in using cybersecurity tools and security testing practices in controlled learning environments
- Prepare training materials, assignments, assessments, and mini projects
- Mentor students in practical cybersecurity scenarios and case studies
- Support students with interview preparation and career guidance
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices among learners
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Cybersecurity fundamentals
- Knowledge of Network Security, Web Application Security, and System Security
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, etc.
- Understanding of ethical hacking concepts and vulnerability assessment
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Networking
- Good communication, mentoring, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CyberOps, or similar are preferred
- Prior teaching/training experience is an added advantage
- Experience with real-time cybersecurity projects or labs
