About Petals Petals Child Development Centre provides multidisciplinary services for children and families, including Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behaviour Therapy, Special Education and other developmental services. We are looking for a Centre Manager who can take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day functioning of the centre and help us create a professional, organised and welcoming experience for children, parents and staff. Role Overview The Centre Manager will coordinate daily operations, staff, schedules, parent communication, client coordination, documentation and administrative activities. Key Responsibilities Centre Operations Manage the daily operations of the centre. Ensure sessions and appointments run smoothly and on time. Coordinate schedules and staff availability. Monitor attendance, leaves and punctuality. Ensure the centre remains organised, professional and child-friendly. Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues. Team Coordination Coordinate therapists and support staff. Assist with staff scheduling and allocation. Conduct/coordinate team meetings. Follow up on pending tasks and documentation. Monitor adherence to centre policies and SOPs. Escalate staff-related concerns to management when required. Parent & Client Coordination Communicate with parents regarding schedules and operational matters. Handle parent queries and concerns professionally. Coordinate cancellations, rescheduling and make-up sessions. Follow up regarding pending reports, appointments and other requirements. Maintain positive relationships with families. Client & Session Management Monitor daily session schedules. Ensure required session documentation is completed. Track attendance, cancellations and missed sessions. Monitor continuity of therapy. Coordinate assessments, reviews and reports with the relevant professionals. Administration Maintain accurate client and staff records. Monitor daily session logs. Coordinate with accounts/admin regarding billing and payments. Maintain operational reports and records. Track enquiries and client follow-ups. Assist management with improving systems and processes. Growth & Outreach Assist with workshops, events and community programmes. Support school and community outreach initiatives. Assist with marketing activities when required. Follow up with prospective clients/enquiries. Support initiatives aimed at improving client retention and centre utilisation. Educational Qualification Candidates from the following backgrounds are encouraged to apply: MBA – Healthcare Management / Hospital Administration / Operations / General Management MSW – Child Welfare / Family & Child Welfare / Medical & Psychiatric Social Work Master's/Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, Healthcare Administration, Management or related fields. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Prior experience in a child development centre, therapy centre, hospital, school, NGO or healthcare organisation will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
