Responsibilities:
Cargo Status & Delivery Coordination:
- Coordinate with drivers, transporters, and suppliers to ensure timely movement and delivery of export cargo.
- Track shipment schedules and proactively follow up to avoid delays.
- Address and resolve cargo-related issues in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Provide regular cargo status updates to clients and management. Export Documentation & Communication:
- Prepare, verify, and rectify export-related documents as per CHA and client requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of complete and accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with clients to collect missing or additional documents, as required.
- Review all outgoing emails and client communications for accuracy and clarity Checklist Preparation & Compliance:
- Prepare export shipment checklists detailing required documents and statutory compliances.
- Review and finalize checklists to ensure adherence to customs, port, and airline regulations.
- Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, customs rules, and client-specific guidelines. Coordination with Ports & Air Cargo:
- Coordinate export shipments with Nhava Sheva Port and relevant port authorities.
- Liaise with air cargo terminals and airlines for smooth handling of air shipments.
- Ensure timely customs clearance, cargo handover, and shipment execution.
- Maintain effective coordination with customs officials, shipping lines, and freight partners. Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of export operations and CHA procedures
- Hands-on experience with customs documentation and port coordination
- Excellent follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and compliance-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines efficiently Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Export Customer Service / CHA operations
- Experience handling sea and air export shipments
- Familiarity with Nhava Sheva Port operations
- Ability to work independently and manage client interactions
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
