Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist helps patients regain independence in daily activities (ADLs) after illness, injury, or disability. The role focuses on improving functional ability, cognitive skills, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:Clinical Duties
- Assess patient’s physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
- Develop individualized therapy plans
- Train patients in ADLs (bathing, dressing, eating, grooming)
- Conduct hand function and fine motor skill training
- Provide cognitive rehabilitation (memory, attention, problem-solving)
- Recommend adaptive devices (splints, assistive tools)
- Perform home/environment safety assessments
Patient Care & Coordination
- Work with physiotherapists, speech therapists, and doctors
- Educate patient and caregivers on home care
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans
Documentation & NABH Compliance
- Maintain assessment reports and progress notes
- Ensure proper documentation (important for audits)
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
