Job Summary:
The X-Ray Technician (Night Shift) will be responsible for conducting diagnostic imaging procedures during night duty, handling emergency radiology cases, operating X-ray equipment safely, and coordinating with doctors and nursing staff to provide timely imaging services to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray investigations as prescribed by doctors.
- Operate CR/DR and portable X-ray machines efficiently.
- Attend emergency, ICU, ward, and OT imaging requirements during night shifts.
- Prepare and position patients properly for accurate imaging.
- Maintain proper records of all radiology procedures and patient details.
- Coordinate with emergency and critical care teams for urgent cases.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of radiology equipment.
- Report equipment issues or technical faults immediately to the concerned department.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the radiology department.
- Ensure patient comfort and confidentiality during procedures.
- Be available throughout the shift for emergency radiology support.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Diploma/Degree in X-Ray Technology / Radiology Technology.
- Valid certification/registration preferred.
- Minimum 2 year of hospital experience preferred.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.
- Understanding of radiation protection and safety measures.
- Ability to work under pressure during emergency cases.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for patient entry and report management.
Shift Timing:
Night Shift (As per hospital schedule)
Additional Requirements:
- Candidate must be willing to work night shifts regularly.
- Immediate joining will be preferred.
- Candidate should be disciplined, punctual, and responsible during duty hours.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
