Job Description — Junior/Senior Psychologist
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct individual counselling sessions with children, adolescents, and adults.
- Conduct parent and family counselling sessions, with supervision where required.
- Support psychological assessments, psychometric testing, scoring, interpretation, and report writing.
- Provide therapeutic interventions using approaches/tools such as CBT, REBT, Art Therapy, and other evidence-based techniques.
- Develop individualised therapeutic plans and behavioural interventions based on client needs.
- Participate actively in case discussions, clinical reviews, and treatment planning.
- Plan and facilitate psychology workshops, psychoeducational programs, and organisational initiatives.
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, session records, and case-related reports.
- Provide training, guidance, and supervision support to interns and assistant psychologists.
- Contribute to the development of therapy resources, worksheets, intervention tools, and clinical programs.
- Work collaboratively with the psychology team while being able to manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
- Take ownership of responsibilities beyond routine clinical work and contribute to the overall growth of the practice.
Candidate Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology — Clinical/Counselling preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of counselling/clinical experience.
- Training in at least two therapy modalities, with 40+ hours of training in each.
- Strong skills in case conceptualisation, formulation, therapeutic intervention, and client handling.
- Good understanding and experience with psychological assessments and psychometric tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while recognising when supervision or consultation is required.
- Comfortable working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
