Education
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil
- Diploma with strong experience can also work (for executive roles)
Experience
- 3–8 years (Executive) / 6–12 years (Assistant Manager)
- Mandatory exposure to:
- Transmission lines (TL)
- Substations (AIS/GIS)
- EPC projects (end-to-end or package handling)
Technical Knowledge
- Tower materials, conductors, insulators, hardware fittings
- Substation equipment (transformers, switchgear, CT/PT, etc.)
- BOQ reading, drawings, and specifications
- Vendor evaluation based on technical compliance
Procurement Skills
- RFQ/RFP handling
- Techno-commercial negotiations
- Vendor development & benchmarking
- Contracting & delivery tracking
